Men ändå.

ENGLISH: Lucia is one of my favorite Swedish holidays. Beautiful girls (and some boys) with candles in their hair bring you light, song and sweets in the morning — what’s not to like about that? Right now I am boiling a pot of glögg while listening to this. I’ve also lit my little Lucia candlestick to celebrate the occasion. My paternal grandmother gave it to me a few years back and it happens to be exactly the same as one that my maternal grandmother has at home and, I think, made herself way back when. Unfortunately the candles burn down pretty fast when you have central heating blowing through the vents. But still. As you can see I am not a big fan of ironing curtaions, I always hope that they will straighten themselves out when I hang them. One day it will actually work…

So, Happy Lucia (and Happy Birthday to my friend Sabina too)!
