(See below for English) Det är inte lätt att äta bra när man bilar genom USA, det kan jag säga. Jag blev överlycklig när jag hittade Go Raw Café, i Las Vegas (av alla ställen). Fastän det absolut var lite av en omväg så var det värt det. Deras house salad var underbar (och enorm) och serverades med linfrökex. Vi provade också Chips, Salsa & Guacamole (hemgjord salsa och guacamole med linfrökex) och en halv Portabello Mushroom Wrap (marinerad portabellosvamp, grönsker, grönkål & “mandelost” inlindad i ett kålblad och serverad med husets “cole slaw”). Så himla gott.
Go Raw Café finns på två ställen i Las Vegas. Den vi besökte ligger i ett “strip mall” vid en konstgjord sjö i ett tillsynes exklusivt bostadsområde i västra delen av staden. De säljer också massa råa godsaker och böcker, vilket gjorde väntan på maten mycket roligare. När vi var klara beställde jag också en grön juice att ta med på den fortsatta bilfärden.

ENGLISH: It’s not easy to eat well while driving across the country, let me tell you. I was so excited when I found Go Raw Café in Las Vegas, and even though it was definitely a bit of a detour it was worth it. The house salad was divine (and huge) and came with dehydrated crackers. We also tried the Chips, Salsa & Guacamole (house salsa and guacamole served with flax chips) and half a Portabello Mushroom Wrap (marinated portabella mushrooms, veggies, kale, & “almond cheese” wrapped in collard greens served with house slaw). Such a treat.
Go Raw Café has two locations in Las Vegas, the one we visited was in a strip mall by a fake lake in a seemingly upscale, very residential area in the west part of town. They also sell lots of raw goodies and books, which made waiting for our food way more fun. When we were done I also ordered a green juice for the road.
